Slab-serifs and mono-spaced typewriter typefaces. I also love the photo thirds and the rounded corners.
I feel like the body text follows the grid from last year, making IVL consistent and making it easier to fit everything into place.
I’m also in love with the cover.
Obviously this is more visually driven than it allows for text; however, it’s still nice on the eyes.
I’m not completely sold on the orientation of the cover photo, but I love the use of text in the gutter space. -NN

The GQ Style Manual came out a while ago, but it definitely has a solid grid structure and clean layout with good attention to detail.
